Rescue Story: Sammy was found in the possession of a man who was allegedly selling Servals in New York, which is illegal. He was rescued along
with 6 other small exotic cats including his brother Enzo. When he arrived he only weighed 2.8 pounds, was malnourished, had diarrhea, worms, and
severe metabolic bone disease, which will need to be monitored for the rest of his life. Thanks to our team’s dedication, Sammy has shown vast
improvement and is now a healthy weight. When he arrived he was smaller than his brother, Enzo, but now is the larger of the two.

More about Sammy: Sammy loves to run up to the fence and say hello to people passing by, and sometimes will walk the fence line with Animal
Care Staff. He also loves his firehose bench, which is why sometimes he chooses to stay in his nighthouse to nap during the day.
