Rescue Story: In December 2009, the Branson Interactive Zoo and Aquarium, in Branson West, Missouri asked Turpentine Creek to assume
responsibility for 7 big cats, a bear, and a coatimundi in order for them to be eligible to reopen. It took four trips to retrieve all of the animals and
bring them to their new home. Harley was brought to the Refuge in the final trip to Branson. The large bear had to be tranquilized due to his location
at the zoo, but awoke safely at his new home.

More about Harley: Harley enjoys lounging in his pool in the warmer months, taking daily naps in his fire hose bench as well as standing and

scratching his back against the wall of his habitat and night house.
