Rescue Story: Hunter was purchased as a pet along with a female serval from a notorious Arkansas Breeder. In 2016, he and the female serval
escaped their home and only Hunter was found. Since it is illegal to have servals as a pet in New Mexico his owner was given the choice to move or
relinquish Hunter. His owner agreed to move. In 2019, reports came in of a wild serval in New Mexico, once he was captured they used a microchip
to identify the serval as Hunter. His owner told law enforcement that Hunter had escaped the day he planned to move in 2016. When rescued from
the wild, Hunter was in pretty good condition for a declawed cat that had allegedly been living in the wild for 3 years.

More about Hunter: Likes to chat and call out to any of his neighbors or keepers that will listen to him, likes to take naps in the shady areas of his
habitat, will occasionally be caught playing with some of his boomer ball toys.
