Rescue Story: On May 28, 2019, a woman called and notified TCWR staff that she had taken in two young bobcats that were abandoned in a house
in Lavaca, AR during severe flooding. Not knowing how to care for them, she asked if TCWR would be able to give the two cats a home. Staff
quickly organized, left, and drove down to pick Prince and Tony up, having to divert around flooded areas along the route. Upon arrival, Staff were
informed they had been abandoned inside the house left in dog crates standing in chest deep, still rising water. Upon return to TCWR, the two were
given a vet checkup and released into their own habitat soon after. Both were suffering from malnutrition from what evidence suggests was a wet cat
food diet. They were successfully reintroduced after being neutered. Nowadays Prince and Tony can usually be seen snuggling under the rock
formation in their habitat.

More about Prince: Prince is more standoffish than Tony, and in general keeps to himself with behaviors that closely resemble a wild bobcat.
