Rescue Story: Found by his former owner by a dumpster at the construction site where he worked, Tiger’s owner decided to take
him home and nurse him back to health. However, after a couple of weeks, it became evident that Tiger was going to be too much
for the couple to handle. It was not until after he bit their one-year old daughter, a bite that would end up leaving her with a scar,
that they decided Tiger needed a more appropriate home. A supporter of the Refuge pointed the couple in the direction of
Turpentine Creek, and in November of 2008, Tiger came to reside with the other animals at our refuge.

More about Tiger: A playful bobcat, Tiger is the only bobcat at the Refuge who enjoys playing in water; so much so, that staff
decided to give him a pool of his own. Uniquely, he enjoys spending most of his time on the high platforms in his enclosure.
